On Sunday 26 August 2012, we began a new sermon series look at 1 Peter.
Like all of Scripture, this letter is God-breathed and it is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. This letter is also particularly valuable because it tells us who we are and how we should live.
Please let me encourage you to read it yourself, and to join us on Sunday evenings as we study it together.
Here is a brief outline of the letter to help you as you read it:
1:1-12 Letter Opening
1:13-2:10 A Call to Holy Living
2:11-3:22 Living as Servants of God
4:1-11 Living as Good Stewards
4:12-5:11 Suffering and Glory
5:12-14 Letter Closing
